Lydia Piekarski been involved with Charmette Academy of Dance since 2011, when she started taking classes at age 9. A year later, she joined the Stars of Tomorrow dance company, under the direction of Miss Margie Rowe and Miss Angie Klevorn. During her time at Charmette, she competed regionally and nationally, receiving several top 10 placements, awards, titles, and scholarships.
Lydia began assistant teaching at Charmette at the age of 13, and since graduating from Lindbergh High School in 2020, she continued to assist and began teaching classes at Charmette.
Lydia is currently pursuing her BFA in Dance with an emphasis in Modern at Webster University. Outside of her classes at Webster, she also enjoys taking classes from many well-respected dance teachers in the St. Louis area. Throughout her dance career, she has taken classes at COCA, The Big Muddy Dance Company, and Resilience Dance Company. As well as teaching at Charmette, Lydia works at the St. Louis Public Library as a materials assistant.
