Christi Bell is a St. Louis native who discovered her passion for dance at a very early age. At six years old, she embraced the art at her church, Greater Faith Missionary Baptist, where much of her dance training originated in the style of liturgical/praise & worship. She trained extensively in this genre from early childhood and throughout high school. She began pursuing her education in the Kirkwood School District, and while attending Kirkwood High School, she served as a Pommie for three years as she trained in the styles of jazz, hip-hop, and team kick lines.

As she worked towards her degree in dance at Lindenwood University, she was given several opportunities to perform and choreograph in the dance department’s annual dance concerts including their informal (student led), fall, winter, and spring. In 2019 her piece, “Pain, Conviction, Innocence, Perseverance” was chosen as one of the choreographic pieces to be taken to the American College Dance Association’s adjudicated concert in the year 2020. She also spent time traveling with the Lindenwood Dance Program to perform works in the Saint Louis National Dance Week festival, as well as the Missouri Dance Organization conference in Columbia, Missouri.

Christi joined the Charmette family in the fall of 2020 as she was finishing up her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in dance (with an emphasis in contemporary) and a minor in business administration at Lindenwood University, St. Charles, MO. After graduating in the spring of 2021 she secured a role at Anheuser-Busch where she currently supports their business partners with all merchandising efforts. Outside of work, she is very close with her family and loves to spend time with them as well as trying new restaurants around the St. Louis area. As she continues to navigate her career in dance, Bell has desires to continue performing, choreographing, teaching, and ultimately opening her own dance studio long term. This is, and has always been a life long goal of hers, and she hopes that her studio will serve others who share the same passion for the art of dance.
